Story #2

First, yesterday I didn't have Internet, so, today, you will have two stories! Yap, stories! (click here)

This story was created when I was looking at the most beautiful lightning (I like lightning. And yes, I am weird).

Lightning

There was something very wrong with her. She knew it.
The day started absolutely the same as the previous one. Wake up to school, drink black coffee, get dressed and leave the house without seeing her parents. Not because they weren't close, but because they already left for work. That was the life of a doctor - in this case... two.
She wasn't mad at it, it was part of her life, and Dee already accepted it. They were saving lifes. She knew it wasn't always great at work, but they had always listen to her, even though they were tired after shifts. They were there. All the time.
But that day... She woke up feeling weird. She was feeling something around her. As if she could suddently feel the energy of the storm that was getting closer and closer.
She never was afraid of it. Never, not even when she was younger. She respected the lightning, of course she did, but never afraid of it.
And there she was. Walking to the school a mile away.
It was the beginning of Summer, and the weather was super different. The previous day was warm as hell and now there was cold wind crossing her hair.
Where was Mr. Wilson? He was always in his porch reading the newspaper with the radio on. But now, the yellow house was empty - in silence.
Dee looked around. There wasn't any car at the street. How could she not see that? There wasn't dogs with their owners.
Complete silence.
She stopped.
Her breath was getting deaper and faster.
She felt she have to be quiet. Don't look around. Don't make any sound.
The sky was changing, becoming darker, the clouds getting closer, surrounding her.
The last trace of sun saluted her and then, desapeared between dim clouds.
Her whiff was cold.
Her heart beat was loud and strong.
She hold her breath when the first lightning cross the sky and hit a young tree.
She couldn't move.
The shadows watched her. She close her eyes feeling the next lightning closer to her.
That was how she would die.
"Please, make it fast", she thought.
The next lightning touched her.
She fell. Her knees hiting the floor. Her hands shaking, while the electricity in her body was killing her inside out. Her eyes look at the sky and she was sure Death was surrounding her.
"No pain", she remember, "Take me"
Her eyes close and what was looking at her get closer.
The shadows transform in a human body. Who cross the street without hurry. The next lightning was about to hit Dee again when he protected her with his own body.
She didn't felt when he lift her up.
