Prologue

I have changed Wind Without Return's prologue for ever. I had about three different prologues - to the same book -, before I ended up with this one (it's still not perfect, but it is almost there):

Whispers came with the Wind while she was getting closer. 

The tree was calling her in her dreams. And when it did it, was never good news. 

She knew it, but she couldn't stop herself. It was destiny. And she couldn't change it. 

"Give them", whisper, "they are the ones"

She stopped. 

She already knew it. 

"Give them. Give me"

"I don't want to die", she said. 

The Wind stopped. Waiting. 

So she gave a step. The another. 

And she touched the tree while her life was merging in something new.
