Character Thoughts

girl
 He left.
She knew it was possible. After all, they were at war.
But... she had hope. Hope that any of her closest friends will die. But he did. He died.
She wasn't naive. She knew that her side would have casualities. But not him. Not the person that taught her so much about fighting, and keep her defenses on. Not him, that was super careful with the ones he protected.
Well... He died protecting. He was just doing his job. Just like her... But... when that happen, she felt his pain through the connection they shared. She felt his mind being destroyed by the one they feared. The only one that could kill them without touching them. But he... he had a psychic shield to protect him and others. What went wrong?!
It doesn't matter. She ketp saying to herself. It didn't matter. He was dead. For now.
And for now was what made her think about him even more. In the body that she met, he was dead. But she knew that he would return. She knew that they were partners for life and that wouldn't change in the new life.
Because that was the world they lived in. A world where souls - Ba as everybody refer to -, return, the essence of a person will be free as they were and then, when they decided to, return to a different body. But in this life, he was dead. She lost him, again. There was nothing that she could do. Waiting was not an option. After all, what kind of person would she be if she was eternaly waiting for her partner? Okay, it was truth, if it was her partner, she could wait, the sadness would worth. However, she couldn't know when he would return and if he wanted to be with her. So, she had to move on. To move on.
But still, it hurts. She didn't have the time that they wanted.
Some days, she only wanted to kill herself and return in a new body and don't remember her past life, and that she had a partner. To live free.
But killing herself wasn't an option. She was a warrior. She must remember that.
Okay, everything is f***ed up, but was still her life. She had time to heal herself and then, in the next life, be happy. Leave things unfinished would have consequences in her future life. She knew that. The same had happen with Diana. So... even though it hurt, she would be busy saving others; to be a better warrior, to improve her gift, to be human.
Okay.

Well, this is it for today. I tried to not give to many names... But I guess that you will find out who's thoughts it was.
